Through 6 games of the season, my 100 Avoid Fumble RB has now fumbled 11 times. He has 146 touches which makes his fumble rate 7.5%. In his latest game, he had 26 touches and fumbled 5 times!!! That's a rate of 19.2%!!! What the **** is going on?

Hang in there. A few sim cycles ago I was noticing an uptick in fumbling but from what I've seen it's settling back down again.

Ok, I may be able to posit a theory. Serious Injury (Hand) < from last season's championship game.

I haven't studied this side of the game but looking at his preseason rushing average dip perhaps hand vs. fumbling issue is at the root.

This preseason he had 1 fumble in like 60 touches. And the hand injury is in the past. He currently is dealing with and ankle issue.

and an arm injury :( I really think it all stems from that stupid previous serious injury.

I believe it has him on a bad track, unfortunately.

I think it's a product of fumbles following a more linear distribution based on percentage chance still rather than a player's Avoid Fumble being parabolic like other attributes are moving.

Because there are more plays per drive in 0.4.4 code (I'm pretty sure that MFN-2 is on 0.4.4, but maybe not), there is a greater chance of fumbles during any drive.

MFN-2 is still on 4.3.

Over his first seven seasons, he fumbled 0.62% of his plays. This season it is 3.77%, 6 times higher than the rest of his career.

Interesting. How do his 4.3 seasons (should just be the last two or three) compare to 4.2?

He had 27 fumbles through his first 79 regular season games. Over the last two seasons, he has fumbled 24 times in 18 games.
