The title is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but I've noticed that QBs and DBs (and everyone else) seem to have significantly less impact on the passing game than do WRs, and wanted to see if others have experienced this as well.

Look at his career stats. Not one season under 100 QB rating, from a QB rated in the 50s. I'd attribute this to his two excellent veteran WRs. On the flip side, I've noticed that amazing QBs rarely seem to 'elevate' the play of a mediocre WR corps, and frequently struggle without go-to targets. Meanwhile, 'elite' DB corps don't seem to do much to slow down high-powered pass attacks.

I don't know if this is maybe just my own confirmation bias, so I wanted to put it out to the rest of the community to see what everyone else thinks.

Definitely, I have have a team with an average (at best) QB with a really good (declining) vet.

I won't say what I look for in a WR, but there are attributes that are worth way more than others.

What code are you palying under. Last season, for my league, the code had very high YAC numbers. Caused by missed tackles. Also, QB pressure under the new code will lower thier effectiveness as the pressure increases, or something like that. MY league has not used the new code yet. Maybe thats your case? I just think the new code will be harder for poor rated QB's. My 49 rated QB has good games, but throws into the line alot and runs it when 3 and 4 guy are wide open. So, reeally those inflated numbers could be offensive scheme or lack of a defense scheme add to randomness. Im not saying non WRs matter, but a 70 rated ex-RB helped out my pass game last season.
