off the steroids?

Just curious about this player's extreme weight loss:

https://ukaf.myfootballnow.com/player/3013

He was originally drafted as a SS, but I converted him to MLB before his first training camp. He gained weight to around 237 lbs, but was injured in the first game of last season and went on IR for the remainder of the year. Now his weight is back down to 217 lbs - will he get back up to an acceptable LB weight or will I have to keep him as a DB? Thanks for any input.

It's conditioning, ignoring the stats for which is his better position. His 'ideal' seems to be 217. As he hasn't been training (IR) He has trended towards his preferred weight. When he starts training again his weight will build if you keep him at LB.

I thought it might be something like that - he reverted to his "natural" position. Since I orginally got him in a dispersal draft I was just looking for good players and plugging them into wherever they might fit a role. I'll see if he can stuff his face at training camp again this year and put some meat back on the bones. Thanks for your help.

Being on IR is like being on free agency, players revert to their generated weight.
