Hello everyone.
I'm writing this to announce my departure from this game. It has been a happy, healthy football alternative to Football Manager and is in my opinion the best game of its kind, however my desire to continue to play + put effort in has waned over the past 5-6 months with positive but large changes in my life (though I'll still stick around in any lingering Discord servers at the very least).
I want to thank everyone for making this a fun experience the last couple years and I wish you all the best in your endeavors on and off the MFN gridiron. In particular, I would love to give kudos to CJ/Legend/McBolt/norm/braindeadkid/GtR/raidergreg/Gabe for running the leagues I put all my effort into, trslick for setting a fantastic example with sportsmanship, the likes of Smirt/AG/hammond/Lemon/brxnivy/Blondie/Waitwut/dangalanti/Shark/dbm/others that I am not remembering off the top of my head this late who have been incredible adversaries, and JDB for putting this all together (I do, however, hope you are able to update the game + especially gameplay for the people who will continue to play this game).
The only reason I am posting this in particular is to 1) give the league admins of my specific leagues time to replace me (though I will renew all my player contracts in NBA league first before leaving that) as I begin departing teams starting tomorrow morning and 2) I am in charge of PFL, so if anyone else in that league wants to take over as admin, feel free to shoot me a message + I'll forward to JDB so that league doesn't die.
