This is plain and simply not acceptable, especially now with the subscription system. The deeper you dive the more utterly insane it all becomes. I could go on for hours on all the nonsense, but I figured I would just put it out there for the community to marvel at.

JDB, I expect a response, and specifically I think the community has a right to know: to what extent is there code in the current engine to force parity? It is statistically impossible that the answer is zero. I am so sick of constantly seeing this kind of nonsensical result.

This game used to have massive blowouts, and huge upsets were almost nonexistent. Now, it is clear that you have forced all games to be much closer, and as a result, any team can beat any other, no matter how bad/good they are, and bad teams beat good teams far too frequently.

You can't continue to just ignore game engine and results now that you are charging subscription fees. You have brought that on yourself, the community has a right to know.

The games linked and a little bit of the context surrounding them. Quick story: My team started this season a well deserved 13-0, dominating a team that has historically been at the top of the league consistently (Detroit). We now just finished the season 13-3. The first loss was to loanblood's Cowboys. A BS loss in itself when you look closely, as the Cowboys have been having a down season, but loanblood is beast, so whatever. Then we have two trash AI teams to finish the season. We statistically dominate them both, but in true MFN fashion, the sim manufactures fantastical ways for us to somehow finish with fewer points and lose both games, and the 1 seed to the aforementioned Lions. This is such a pattern in MFN and I'm ridiculously sick of it.

You’re correct Warrior. The fact the JDB has asked anyone to pay to play outside of donations is outright bad business and displays a huge lapse in judgement. Then after all this feedback, he has not retracted the subscription is stubborn.

These two flaws are directly reflected in the game, in addition to his ignoring of sound feedback and his insistence to create parity between sites rather than improve the new sight. I understand now this is largely due to JDB not having a thorough understanding of what his game has, and is. This was evidenced by the admission of having no matrix for the coding or site.

It is just bogus, but what can you do. Fools will continue to pay for turds, JDB will continue to be stubborn and refuse to detail this as it should have been in the first place (as any experienced developer should or would), all the bright ideas of the community will go ignored because they didn’t get derived by JDB and he will refuse to noodle it, the actual part of the game that matters will never be fixed (the sim!!).

Just enjoy what you have for now. I’m sure what happens next is going to stay seeming like the nail in the coffin.

I will take this position too, not for a second do I believe this needed to be subscription for updates to happen. That is a complete line of BS. So the basis on which subscription was introduced, to me, was a complete fabrication of truth. This thing ran how long with only donations? IMO, the subscription was a way to out red tape on the amount of leagues because it was causing something - the sad thing is his solution was pulling the wool over our eye’s, or so I feel.

I hate that I feel compelled to say anything when I just want to enjoy this game. It is just tough seeing everyone echo the same sentiment and then JDB is floating around in cloud nine completely disengaged from the immediate feedback of this good community for “parity” to a subpar standard.

I’ll leave dialogue here, but who cares really I guess. Thanks for the game, sorry not sorry to have expectations since the game is now getting long overdue attention.

Totally agree about the lack of game development and improvement Wait, and am paying the full sub price in the hope that it will help, but who knows. Its now up to JDB to decide. Im still using the old interface, dont like the new one. I dont think anyone cared near as much about the interface as they did the actual gameplay. Without a rule for full play selection and use, we are relegated to using the same few plays that have the best averages consistenly. Not much strategy to doing that. And the speed exploits are another issue. Was hoping that JDB could put in a control option for Admins to use for full play selection. and have the Ai coach step in to put a player at their designated position, no CBs at DE, etc. Its a hassle to ensure league rules compliance for Admins and those helping with the league management. Anyhow, will stay hopefull and keep paying the subcription as long as the game is alive. Its not much for the return in entertainment, I play a massive world-wide online game where some pay over $1000 in a month for various upgrades, there is no subscription, people just pay to get more things to give them an advantage, one of the most mind blowing things Ive seen online.
