I decided earlier in the season that I am needing to pare down in the number of teams/leagues that I am involved and although I like this team and the direction they are going, I wanted to give them up. They just won me my first ever league title against a tough Indianapolis squad but I am going to stick to my decision to give them up:

Here is my team (Tuscon): http://cust22.myfootballnow.com/team/20
Should be available tomorrow (1/7) after the season flips.

Just as sort of my state of the team address in case you find it helpful, here is my thoughts (I watch almost all of my games so I do pay attention to all of my teams as much as possible). I picked this team up the previous season while it was under way (I did not draft) and could only muster a 6-10 season. Gave me a good draft spot and I was able to plug a lot of holes in the draft (honestly I got lucky as heck with how it all came together).

QB - Harrell was a guy drafted prior to my involvement and he's young (will be going into his 3rd season). He's not spectacular or terrible and he has a little room to grow. Personally I would not go out of my way to get a QB but if one fell into my lap I'd be OK grabbing one. So I think QB is OK for the moment.

RB - More of a committee type of arrangement:

*Michael Lewis is rated the best but he was injured most of the season and had to play through various ailments. He's not bad when healthy.
*Cesar Brown was another guy I inherited and he has some promise but I've been a little disappointed when he is pressed into action. He does have room to grow so maybe he will accel going into his 3rd season.
*Otto was not used much this season but I did use him the season before, he's adequate and works as a return man in a pinch. He's older so might retire or need replacement but I wouldn't be in a big hurry to cut him loose.
*Eric Burns is the guy I love out of this group. His overall rating is low but he has dynamic speed and does not fumble much which makes him super awesome. I tried not to over use him but he is also good at special teams returns.
As a group I think you are OK keeping them together but if you found a special back to take over the lead reigns, it would probably be pretty cool.

WR - Rico and Mauro are the guys I inherited as starters and they are young enough to keep around for years to come. They are unspectacular but have OK speed and seem to catch well enough. Sam Miceli (Who's the Boss?) was my 1st round pick and was really the difference maker on offense. Miceli http://cust22.myfootballnow.com/player/3752 is a game breaker at WR and is one of the players who can exploit the punt returns (believe Sam lead the league in punt return average and even got a TD in the championship game). Again I tried not to over use Miceli in the return game during the regular season but let 'er rip in the post season. Again - I would not think WR would be a top priority in the offseason.

FB- I hate FB's so I don't spend any time worrying about them other than I really hate slow guys at FB. Culver has been good at what I want from a FB and I'd not worry about the position at all but that is certainly up to you.

TE - definitely could use some love at TE. TE isn't a monster important position in my mind but the guys on the team are just kinda OK:
*Davenport - my go to guy, he's OK and I was sad when he got injured during the regular season.
*Edwards - great blocker/hands of stone but he did make a clutch catch in the championship game on 4th down to keep the team alive.
*Presson - opposite of Edwards, great hands, but blocks like junk. I picked Presson off of the waiver wire late in the season when Davenport went down and he caught the ball pretty well. I sat him in the title game and went with Edwards.

Offensive Line - I'm not a fan of using high picks on O-line because they all seem to be terrible. Defintely could use better players but again, I wouldn't necessarily burn high draft picks or make silly trades to get them. I did draft a Tackle in round 3 and Heredia looks decent.

Punter/Kicker - no one cares about kickers...no one...if you don't like them, look at the free agents and pick a new one.

Defensive Line - current head coach runs a 43 so this is a wee bit more important than LB. Taylor and Woods on the outside are both great players. The big concern is when Taylor will retire (going into his 12th season if he does not retire). So getting a young replacement for Taylor would be my advice as top priority. I wouldn't stress too much about it unless he does retire. But yeah behind those 2 players at DE, there is nothing in the cupboard. DT, I mainly think of for run stopping power - Rubio certainly looks the part and is young. Salicido went down late in the season with a knee so I put him on IR. I assume he will be back. William was a late season free agent pick up when Salicido went down. I forgot to put him in my lineup until the championship game and he did register a sack so that was pretty neat-o keen.

LB - I hit on 2 late picks in Jackson (5th round) and Ester (6th round) but they need time to develop which I did not focus on with the quest to win a championship. When they fill out they should provide a nice core of LB's when pared with Holland and Martin and everyone. So I think LB is not a big area of need.

DB - Got lucky in the draft at this position as well. Engel was a great pick in round 2 and solidified the SS spot. Engel paired with Jamison is pretty good at safety and the backups Huey and Cantu are good enough. Hernandez was another lucky pick in round 4 but I'd say another CB to pair with him would be a good idea.

So there you have it, take my thoughts or leave them. I'd look at DE and CB as top priorities and TE/O-line as secondary targets if you find resources but Tuscon can be your team if you choose them as your next adventure.
