depth chart question

if i have a player at multiple positions, lets say RB1 and WR3, and i call a play from personell 1RB/1TE/3WR will it put him at RB since he's higher in the depth chart at that position or will it play him at WR3???

In situations like this, it's highly unlikely the player will ever play the secondary position unless you are using overrides on sets. I found this out with having a player at RB3/WR3. The player started in the 3-wide sets, but almost never got a carry as a RB because of fatigue issues. The carries that would have gone to the player went to the RB4 instead.

thx was just wondering since a couple of my RBs in different leagues are better at WR than my 3rd/4th string WRs and was planning on putting them in my depth chart as RB1/WR3, so that they will play as WRs in 5WR and 1TE/4WR (and RB2/WR3 or 4 to play as WR in 1RB/4WR, 1RB/1TE/3WR, 1RB/2TE/2WR) just wanted to make sure they wouldn't be playing as WRs in formations where i have a RB1 and RB2 actually listed to play

You can use overrides to accomplish the same thing.

the reason i don't want to use overrides is, if i'm thinking correctly overrides ignore fatigue

I haven't found this to be true. I'm not sure what happens with the subbing logic when the overridden player is fatigued though. I assume it switches to the primary player at the position that is rested enough to play the snap.

No, it's actually the opposite - overrides stick to fatigue rules stronger than depth chart - if all players in the depth chart are below the fatigue threshold the game will iterate through again, reducing the threshold until a player is selected. The overrides will not do that - if the player in the override is below the fatigue threshold then the player will be selected from your depth chart.
