I have been doing an independent study on my play calling and game planning after seeing the play calling too often penalty. I have noticed that after selecting 40 different offensive plays, verifying that I had the available personnel ready to play according to the sliders, and verifying that I have had an appropriate offensive game plan (20% run outside, 25% run inside.....ect) and verifying situational play call (1st and short within 20 run inside X% of the time.....ect) that for 10 games across 5 leagues (50 games) that I am not using all of my offensive plays in a game
By going to game planning, moving the selection to "times called" and then moving the slider to 1 game (the last game) I have been noticing of the 40 plays I have selected, that, on an average, I do not call 9-11 of the plays I selected. When a team averages high 50 to 60+ plays called per game, why are my teams not utilizing all of my gameplan and getting the "called to often" notice?
