Just went to try and re-sign players who might go FA in one of my leagues and noticed that the amount of cap space remaining on the contract screen and the amount of cap space it claims I have on the renegotiation wizard screen are radically different. One indicates $1.6M remaining after I offered a contract (which resulted in a savings of like $700K for the current season...), the other is indicating I"m $600K over the cap with the offer of that contract.
Which number do I pay attention to? I've withdrawn the latest contract I offered to get both numbers agreeing that I still have cap space remaining (but not agreeing on the amount of that space...) because I don't want to risk the machine doing an auto-cut, but I'm at a loss for why those two numbers would disagree by $2.2M. Am I missing something really obvious here, or should the contract screen and renegotiation wizard always be in agreement regarding how much money I have available below the cap?
