Ice hockey match seating advice

Whilst in america I'd like to see flyers v ducks on my final night in philadelphia in Oct. There are range of seats left available. Middle of sideline top tier are about £60. End are about £34. Corner about £45.

What would you guys recommend? Worth paying the extra bit and getting side or just save money and go in end - I assume they have big tv for close calls/goal replays?

i would recommend you sit in the hockey rink where the hockey players play and as they go by you could wave at them.

If you are talking about a once in a lifetime NHL experience, go all out.

Grew up watching and playing hockey from a young age (Canadian), and I like sitting in a slightly elevated corner position about 20-25 rows up in a corner so I have total view over the game.

If you're looking to purchase tickets in the upper bowls I'd probably suggest somewhere between the blue lines in the center third of the ice.

Hope you enjoy the game!

As a Wells Fargo Center regular I can attest that the Club Box corner seats are my personal fave and not outrageously expensive either

It's hard to find a bad seat in at a hockey game unless you are way way up but even then it's not as bad as if you were going to a football (English or american) game. The good thing is that most arenas seat on average around 20k. My girlfriend and I bought playoff tickets to see the penguins play against the blue jackets and we were 20 rows back at one of the ends and it was a good time

I've always enjoyed sitting behind the net, which are generally the cheapest seats. The one drawback is that one goal is (obviously) much closer than the other... But it is a really cool perspective for half of the game...
