Because I don't like playing whit owners who want to lose.

Why not create a league of players who need to win a Championship to play in this league.

Suggestions of rule :

Create waiting list. Players whit the most championship whit the same team have priority.

Every season the 4 or 6 worst are out for team on the waiting list.

Because is hard for the new owners to win whit one of the worst team, why not make a copy of the team How make this player available to play in the championship league.

I think is a very good idea, but please make your own suggestions for this CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

It's a good idea that I think needs a little bit of work. The biggest issue I see is copying the teams. I don't think that talent is even across all of the leagues. For more instance my cust 17 team that made it to the conference championships would get obliterated in cust 10, MFN 1, and cust 35 just to name a few.

Transactions would also be pretty weird as well if it was copied teams. I would recommend and league built from scratch with a merit system based on championships, conference titles, division titles, and overall record [the last two so i'd have a chance to get invited :(]

Going by number of championships alone might not be enough; there's only slightly more than 32 leagues and quite a few leagues have the same player winning them.

You might have to take into account overall winning percentage too.

How would this even work? Some leagues have teams full of 90 rated players, others don't , the logistics of this seem impossible to marry up. I like the idea but wouldn't want it to replace the importance and accolade of winning the league.

I like the idea of a Champions league. However, I don't think the idea of copying teams into the league would work very well.

I also think it should take more than just one season of a bad season before the next on the waiting list comes in and takes over.

For example, if you are taking over a team that struggled, odds are it is going to take a little while before you are having much success in the W/L column.

Maybe the owners heritade the worst team and bad siging contract, but this league is for the better manager. So if the player still finish last, this player still have is other team in regular league and every time he win a Championship is name is put against in the waiting list.

I've been thinking of something similar in the past couple of months. Except I was thinking of some sort of Manager ranking system with points (negative/positive) related to season record, play off appearances and time spent in a league, and giving the top managers a chance to participate in the league. As far as managers being released from the Champion league how about replacing the bottom 2 to 4 managers except for those who are in their first two or three seasons. This gives a chance for the new managers in the league to revamp the team that they inherit.

Was kind of thinking the same thing Bronk.. If you make the Champions League, allow 3 seasons to settle in, then replace the last place team in each division. Depending on the wating list could replace bottom 2 in each division.

That would be equivalent to 8-16 new managers every 2-3 seasons. Actually 3 seasons may be to long to wait, I would make it every 2 seasons.
