I know booger926 raised the concern a few seasons ago in our league forum, but not sure if it ever made it here;

When there's offers on your coaches, you should get some kind of notification and - preferably - at least 1 sim chance to get some offers sent. We're already told when contracts are running out, why not when offers come in? As far as I know, in the NFL it's custom that coaches and teams are open about who they recruit, something I think should be forced more in this game.

In a similar way; It would be nice with some kind of pop up or information on how your FA offers are going. It could be similar to the "You need to scout your opponent" or something. Just a little sweet thing saying:

"Free Agency Week 1 update:

You signed:
Player A to $12.345.678/3y

These players rejected your offer:
Player B (signed for Team C)
Player D
Player E
Player F"

And last but not least; I wish there was a way to sort out the players that are no longer under contract. I actually struggled finding out where I needed reinforcements, because they were showing up on team page and depth chart, like everyone else. Some mark ($?) or a red - or something that would indicate, that they weren't under contract, but still on the roster, would be really nice.

You actually can already do both things.

To see players not under contract, go to your roster on your team home page and change the dropdown menu from Player Details to No Current or Pending Contract.

To filter your transactions, select the Edit Filter button under Transactions on either the league home page or your team page, or both.

During free agency, you can also go to My Team and select Pending Contracts from the dropdown. If a free agent is fielding offers, but has not yet signed, it will show you which team has the top offer. You can also go to any free agent and select Details. At the bottom, it will show you the offers this players has fielded.

I see both sides of this issue.

Yes, you can see who is on your roster that doesn't yet have a contract and so forth. But it would be nice those players while viewing the full roster.

I like the idea of making the names red. It would be a nice "you're in danger of losing this player" indicator. And not only would I appreciate seeing this in the roster page, I would also like to see this in the depth chart! In the depth chart, I could instantly have almost all the information I need to decide what I want to do about that player... position, how many years they've been playing, position in the depth chart.

Having their names in red in the roster page and the depth chart would prevent me from having to switch views so much. And these views only give me a limited understanding of the importance each player may have on my team. Just because a player may have good ability numbers, doesn't tell me how many other players I have at that same position that also have good ability numbers. If that position has a few more players with good ability numbers, I may be willing to let the guy go. If my free agent is the only one at his position with good ability numbers, I will put more urgency into signing him. All of this assessment becomes much easier if I can see them while viewing everyone on my team at the same time.

Similarly, I would LOVE to see an option in the drop down menu in the depth chart screen where I could see the players that are not yet in the depth chart. I can do this in the roster screen, but it's annoying to go back and forth. It would be helpful to have that option in the depth chart screen.
