Taking the game slightly more seriously right now, would it be possible to have an export function on the game logs to be able to download the log.

Format could be a csv type file with the following info

Qtr Time, Team in Possession, Down, Distance, Field Position, Offensive Play, Defensive Play and Outcome.

As the other fields are fairly obvious, the only one I need to describe would be "Outcome". This field should contain the normal comments you get in the game log - ie X ran to Team 23 for 3 yards. Tackle by Y.

The benefit to this would be to enable people to import the log file into Excel, Open Office Libre Office etc and analyse the game a bit more easily. Obviously you still need to put effort in but right now it's a case of copy the game log, work out which team is in possession and copy the data into specific columns.

I would agree to this if it is available to everyone like me.

That is, those of us who are not so cpu literate. Me, I was taught how to write and add and subtract in my head (and my fingers and toes) instead of a calculator, or your so called "Smart Phones". Typing is pushing my limits!

I'd need very good instructions, to download, store, edit, whatever else in order to use it and take advantage of that stuff also.
