QB Awareness

i completely understand the field of vision and look off. defender attributes but I would think that QB's with 60 or above on either attribute should look to see if other receivers are open.

Most of the time when i watch the games, especially on a pass play, right when the QB snaps it, it seems almost always he is on a receiving target, by which I mean he is facing the receiver, and eventually throws to him even if he is double or triple covered. It almost seems that he is never looking for other receivers as he is fixated on throwing to that specific receiver, rather than looking for anyone that could be more open.

Take this play in my MFN-15 game against Arizona for example: http://mfn15.myfootballnow.com/watch/219#51030

Two receivers that are lined up on both sidelines streak out and are more open than the guy Zimmer throws it to. In my opinion, I think he would search for other receivers real quick before throwing it since he has alright attributes.

Is there a certain number on attributes that affect how quick the QB searches for open players or how many people he can search for?

The QB's experience has a large impact on his ability to decide not to throw the ball to a covered receiver. By experience, it's not just the number of years he's played but also his knowledge of the offensive and defensive play at the time.

This addresses a big query for me. Is the visual display ONLY a representation of the dice rolls or a TRUE representation of how each player plays. As in do we take as bible what we see or do we dismiss the visuals and concentrate on the outcomes?

What you see is what is actually simmed. There is a small measure of error as the keyframes that are saved are compressed, but the game engine is actually simulating each player as an autonomous user agent, having them make their own decisions based on the information that they are aware of, and recording what they do as they do it.

I just want to make sure I understand this right. A QB's experience, in years, is another attribute being factored into how well he performs on the field? And, if that is correct, is there also an experience attribute being factored into every other positions play as well?

Every player's experience is being factored and is moderately significant. But this is not number of years in the league, this is a combination of their play study during the week (thus the importance of scouting your opponent) as well as experience on the field (each play they are on the field they gain experience for both the play their team is executing as well as the play the opposition is executing). The higher a player's score in his experience, the better he will perform.

This is slightly off topic but also has to do with the passing game. In MFN-15, my WR could not make the catch so I thought he dropped it. Instead, it showed that the defender knocked the pass down from my receiver, yet he was probably 3 + feet away from my receiver.

Is this just a physical action we can not see watching the game, like he is actually closer to my receiver and can knock the ball down, or is this a potential bug or error?
