The upside is, you don't have to gameplan. Just set your depth chart and overrides and you are good to go.
The downside is, the AI gameplans and coaching decisions are horrible. You will be a much happier person if you don't watch the games.

Yeah apologies, was just saying if you can't be bothered with gameplanning you should try roster only.

KDB72 has a new League about to start, looking for 7 more owners to start a dispersal draft. If you wanted a team that was more 'mature' the UFA (United Football Alliance) is a good league with plenty of interaction and I admin for Franchise Football (2nd season but currently full)

IMO, too many owners destroy teams to win now and leave after 2 or 3 years when they can not afford to field a full team.

When you open the season with 8 open teams in the flagship league of the entire game, MFN-2, that speaks volumes...

The solution is simple: either we can personally choose to fill leagues with active admins and players, or JDB can do it for us with a "league merging" to make X leagues full and Y leagues GONE.

Just like those crappy pay to play - errrr free to play browser games.
BTW:
I am an active admin, and I work daily on my leagues, and yes, we are competitive. That stated - if folks like yourselves joined we'd be more so.
Same is true for other leagues run by very die hard admins.
We exist.
I'm not going away anytime soon, and many other admins also do their very best. :)
Maybe, just maybe, join leagues with active admins vs staying in leagues that are naturally fading after so many years.
Maybe stay in the league you are in instead of abandoning it to try out some league formed yesterday.

Perhaps threads such as this do far more damage than normal player erosion.
In fact, we know they do, especially when noob comes in and see 1200+ looks and so, so many comments.

I happen to think players that start such threads and provide NO solutions, ideas, proof of concepts, abandon dedicated admins, and just general bitching are the biggest problem.

If you got into MFN expecting it to ever be a finished product...
You need to go somewhere else.
MFN is too fluid for you, kind person, and JDB is single-handedly doing a lot of top notch, new level **** while trying to appease folks that want it their way.

I for one, will no longer participate in game killing threads such as this.
