Also, no way to correlate this or back it up. But if a player's fatigue level is set too low I think it affects conditioning, which can lead to injuries as well. They would tend to be short term, niggly injuries - strains etc

I try to have depth on both lines with varying degrees of success across teams. I agree that it's hard to gauge when the performance starts to suffer.

60 - default for me unless I'm looking for a competitive advantage. Mmm, competitively one league added a new rule each year and got me mad - challenge wise - I thought long and hard and moved the slider to zap back hard at the rules as my strike back. I can't detail due to it being current. :)

and nah, like when Ray throws out whack-y fatigue levels or that 25-30 stuff you mentioned. Those rates = just looking for L's.

These are pretty low but at least we are 11-2. No rules , no overrides, no scouting, and same game plan......I bet most positions are above 80% of possible snaps. Rb gets an extra fatigue hit. It builds up through out the game. It was tossed around to build up through the season too.

You guys are right about fatigue/ conditioning. Watch how quick they get pulled with real low conditioning....especially if they have to run far on that play or consecutive plays

4.6 has more drawn out drives ...like they said you want your stars on the field when it counts. So substituting is more important. If your d gets a lot of three and outs 25 works for dline . If you have 44 for dB that long drive will have backups in when you opponent is in the red zone. Not good.

Once the guy hits a level you set he gets pulled. Then the next guy is up. The same happens to him and if the first guy has not recovered enough it moves on the 3rd player and so on. The lower the settings the more frequently the logic will search down the depth chart. Real low will have your Rb 3 getting most snaps.

Fatigue levels are not a static number !

It depends on your roster and how much quality depth you have at each position group plus also it depends on opponent and importance of game.

Week 6 versus a mediocre owner and the Conference Championship game versus an elite owners means different settings.

Current injuries factor into what I set my Fatigue at also.

45 is my standard for every position!!!

This is not a boast by any means, but my first games since coming back from the 43 engine.

QB: 100%
Backs: 25%
TEs: 40%
WR's: 25%
OL: 60/%

A run heavy GP that utilizes WR's for extra speed has the following standings...

3-0 - PF 135 PA 7

Two players with 25+ carries are averaging 12+ yards per carry....one WR one RB. Team is averaging almost 400 yards on the ground. The ground game is well distributed in terms of carries....with most hovering around 4.5 to 5 yds per carry.

Reason I'm posting this ? I see nothing wrong with low RB fatigue levels in the game....from my limited exp.

[EDIT] Not one injury on the OL since.....I just hope the don't come in bunches LOL

I concur...

In 4.6 using multiple backs will fatigue around 30 keeps em fresh and your defense benefits because time of possession reaches 45 to 15.

Ball carry takes on a renewed importance also.

Is it just better to plug in 90+ speed/acceleration WRs at RB instead of "real" RBs? I know that's what most of the truly successful owners do, so am I wasting my time ever considering drafting or signing a 217 lb. runner? Doesn't seem to be any injury risk playing severely undersized players out of position - I've seen WRs played as FBs and TEs as well.

If I'm putting a WR into the RB position.....I don't care about weight ! Most important factors for me would be speed/acceleration.....but huge emphasis on avoid fumble.....for me that is key, I don't want to chance a RB who can't take care of the piggy.
