Does Acceleration affect turn rate?

I've been meaning to ask this for a while. In a lot of games that include physical attributes, Speed and Acceleration are often joined by a third attribute usually called Agility or something similar. The difference between the 3 tends to be:

Speed - Top speed, same as MFN.
Acceleration - How fast to top speed, same as MFN
Agility - Turning speed...missing from MFN?

So I'm wondering if the Acceleration attribute is used for this or if it's the same for all players (or the same for all players relative to weight).

That could be it. But I thought JDB described that as determing how much of the player's speed they can use when they have the ball.

you could be right, i just know that the backs and wr's that have high ball carry weave in and out and around defenders at a greater impact. So i just thought of it as another way to describe agility in my own weights. Maybe we will get some better clarification :)

Ball carry is how fast a player runs with the ball as opposed to running routes or something

Bumping this.

JDB, can you enlighten us on this? No one seems to know the answer.

Turn rate is actually common across all players - but I like your idea to add an agility rating. I'm going to put that into the queue.

How would it be different than Ball Carry for offensive players.

well agility gives players greater chance of eluding the opposition and completing plays when a player has the ability to stop , start and change directions quickly and unexpectedly.

Awhile Ball Carry is only to be able to GAIN yardage for the team and also probably makes sure that the RB doesn't let the ball go if tackled by a defense player because I would imagine Avoid Fumble and Ball Carry work together to make sure the player doesn't lose the ball to the other team.

Edit ::: Like for example a Big Hit would be different from Tackle Ability.

In that the Big Hit would result in a fumble or where the defense player could knock a offensive player from the game. also if the player misses the tackle then the offense player could get a bigger gain for the offense.

Awhile Tackle Ability only results in that player on defense to get that SURE Tackle to prevent further damage for the defense . also there is like a 50-50 chance that a turnover or a defense player could knock a offensive player from the game.

Ball Carry is how fast you move with the ball ( as opposed to running routes) Avoid Fumble or whatever its called is for well...avoiding fumbles.
