Player Petulance (Player Coach Opinion)

Anyone know how long it takes for mood to change? Any threads on it?

I'm curious because I have players on my team I've traded or cut and want to know the rate of increase or decline. Will a Livid player ever make it back to Neutral? I've seen Livid players go to Very Unhappy over the course of another half season of playing them. Is 2 years enough of starting every game to go back to Neutral? 3 years?

Opinoins are tied to overall. Cutting, trading, playing time and whether they think they could start on another team will make them mad. Its a system to prevent stacking a team.... getting them back to a renegotiation level will depend on thier overall, snaps, and of course a passage of time frame.

That time frame has been really short and to it seems like forever.

i had a player in team i inerited with young tight end drafted 2nd round sitting on bench unhappy with me,i started him and 2 weeks later his opinion dropped to neutral so in my experience it doesnt take long to put things right

Unhappy to Neutral is a one step drop, and a step-drop that just happened, so should be easily corrected if you start him a few times. I've only seen Livid step-drop to Very Unhappy, meaning there's presumably two more steps to go, to Unhappy, and then finally to Neutral, before you can deal with him again

How long does that whole process take? Has anyone managed to do it?

Fringe players take several spins ...i have cut them or traded them and tried to get them back via FA. Thats easier and much quicker, but once an 80 rated QB took over two full seasons to change his mind enought to sign as an FA

80 in default weights or your weights? How long exactly? 2.5 years of starting him, so over 32 games started, more like 40? Did he play in preseason? Does preseason play affect their mood?

There's players I cut or traded a long time ago, who still hates my guts.

Yes, it is Defaults and games started wouldnt matter cause hes not on my team yet. I have seen guys get snaps on other teams and change thier attitude quicker but that is only observational.

If they change attitudes because of playing time ...playing time at the position he thinks is the best fit at will change his mind quickest . This like less than half a seasons worth of games to go through one mood

Still, sitting guys in preseason or late in the season shouldnt change them much, but cutting and or trading them matters alot. This i seen an 88 rated QB still livid over 4 years later...May be this system is not linear?

I've cut a **** WR who wouldn't get any playing time for me and traded others in similar situations.

I gave them a better situation and they hate my guts after 6 seasons.

Other i have had were blow 70 default and it took 1 to 4 years after being cut or traded just to get to very unhappy. I have never traded back for the same guy....perhaps in not possible, or maybe its a way around it?
