Arguably the best team in "the other" conference over that time span overall imo. No matter how ugly of a stretch the Cowboys had mid-season, you could always chalk their name up to a division title and first round bye. **** of a squad!

Yeah, it was a **** of team, but we always melted down in the Bowl games. One championship appearance in all, and that was an embarrassing loss to Notre Dame... I should've gotten more out of that team, I feel shame... I'm looking forward to this season, I like a challenge and this rebuild will take a few seasons. I told Tommy in private that I got sloppy with my roster and I'm paying for it now, and it's true. I gotta tighten it up!
