With the season nearing the end in the NFFL
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/ I thought I put something together to keep everyone informed on how former NCAA players are performing in the NFFL
First up with have Cornerback
Bill Wu from Tennessee
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3789 Bill started the season in the coaches doghouse and found himself only playing special teams after an intervention by commissioner otterpop cooler heads prevailed and Bill found him starting in the Emperors defense. Though not spectacular numbers Bill did have 73 tackles. I am sure once NFFL rolls into 4.5 Bill will be a great corner
Next we have Wide Receiver
William Brock also from Tennessee
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3770. Version 4.4 is not really Wide Receiver friendly 62 receptions is not bad for a rookie but 510 total yards receiving is well below the mark. Being on a team that made the playoffs will help with William ego.
Now we have Tight End
Patrick Gould from Utah
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3459 Patrick had a nice season with the Mean Machine. But nothing like his playing days in Utah, but Patrick did show he an asset in the Run game also, so there should more glory to come.
Running Back
Bobbie Warfield only had one good season with the Bruins before moving on and he seems to found a home in Minnesota.
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3562 Along with his 1200+ yards rushing he added 77 Receptions for 539 yards scoring a total of 9 touchdowns both rushing and receiving.
Another UCLA product former Heisman Trophy Winner
Robert Beal https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3507 was drafted by the Springfield Isotopes to lead them to promise land. Robert is used to playing in difficult situations and the Isotopes are still growing. Robert did lead them to 7 wins which is nearly double what they have done in prior seasons.
Free Safety
Terry Devries from Kentucky had a rough training camp and started behind the 8-ball
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3467. But Terry fought his way and found him starting for the Utah Spikes.
Running Back
Stephen Figueroa from LSU
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3729 had a good rookie season rushing for over 1000 yards with 5 Touchdowns adding in 43 receptions for 210 yards. The Tampa Top Guns are in the playoffs. Do not be surprised to see Stephen traded, owner of the Top Gun is known by some as the Mad Trader due to his love to make a deal.
Running Back
George Finn https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3476 from USC was very busy this season along with 237 rush attempts he also caught 155 passes racking up a total of 1400 yards go with 2 touchdowns.
Offense tackle
Michael Smith from UCLA
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3687 started 11 games gave up 6 sacks for the NFFL Champions BazookaSharks
Quarterback
James Sherwood from Navy
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3595" target="_blank">
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3595 started 10 games for the Louisiana Mud Dogs. James had his ups and downs but should be a solid starter in the 2003 and the Mud Dogs should be a force in the Eastern Conference.
Wide Receiver
Gary Teegarden from Tennessee
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3634" target="_blank">
https://national-fictional-football-league.myfootballnow.com/player/3634 had his struggles but a new season brings new hope for the Aztecs and Teegarden.
