Week 13 Heisman Watch

1. QB-Don Anderson (Texas) distancing himself from the pack.
2. RB-Byron Gribble (Texas) 1,000 yard rushing and 1,000 yard receiving duel threat
3. WR-Thomas Schmidt (Florida) Top weapon on one of the best teams in Super Conference.
4. QB-George Bowers (Oklahoma St.) Piling up numbers for a resurgent team looking to repeat.
5. QB-Rocky Rothrock (Army) Leading the league's hottest team into unknown territory.

anybody else deserve to be on the list? I had Texas' WR-Freddie Mitchell, Ohio State's RB-Ben Hartsock, Notre Dame's WR-Parris Campbell and Miami's QB-Paul Johnson as fringe candidates. Texas has taken over under the new regime and seem destined to have one of their players win the award.

Not for the Trojans, injury has deflated Carr’s numbers, although he will probably top his 110 receptions from a year ago and lead the nation.
