I started thinking....I really do not mind the no trade rule as this is a college universe, but what about "transfers". This was my thought, and apologize if someone as already put something similar out there.....
School ADs can do ONE trade per school, and that trade has to be PLAYER for PICK value ONLY! ONE player for ONE Pick.
This is my thought, QB is not getting playing time at UCLA, he wants to transfer to Notre Dame would could use help at QB. Notre Dame gives up a single PICK of equal or similar value for that QB.
Why just for picks? Because now that, that player has transferred their will be "recruitment" interest in for that position at UCLA, hence the pick. Picks are basically recruiting points.
So this would keep it simple, you transfer a player to a team that needs him and you pick up a potential recruiting slot, make sense?
And this should only happen once between schools a season. You never see multiple transfers to one school from another unless its a smaller DII school to a big school or something.
Or you can even add that teams can only have so many transfers added per season, say 5?
I'd like to hear peoples thoughts on this, and what do you think Mr. Bryson10?
