Strength of Schedule? 2017

How hard was my schedule? (You might have wondered and asked yourself) Well even if you didn't, here is how strength-of-schedule went for the regular season.

Each team's final win-percentage back-filled over each teams schedule (16 opponents) then sorted most difficult (#1) to the least difficult (#32):

Lots of Bowl teams near the bottom of the list - makes me wonder how much SoS really tells you. I mean if I lost more games then I'd have a stronger schedule - but I'd rather the wins ;)

Even UCLA that played Arizona 2x and Tenn are at the bottom!

Thanks for putting the list together Bryno.

Yeah, but they (UCLA) also play in a division with 2 teams that had a combined 6 wins....(AZ ST & USC) and they played them twice. It hurts you for SoS points for sure!

Losing games doesn't help your strength of schedule (unless your losing to your division opponents, I guess) Not sure I follow you on that....

Thanks for posting that Bryno. The SOS is always an interesting stat to view. Doesn't matter if your on top or bottom. it's just a stat. $hits about to get real now as the BCS bowl series starts!!!

I guess I could vaguely kinda sorta blame my schedule for killing me this year, maybe?

...

Nah, I didn't really think so either.
