I will give Kansas the slight edge in this one. Their defense has been great. 5th in the league in points allowed. However Iowa is in a tougher division by the numbers. UCLA has made a good turn around but not "surprising" and Navy is starting to show their age.

Ya i picked Kansas as well, just cause i wasnt sure the offense was ready to take the next step. Ive always felt iowa was strong and they are finally putting it together. UCLA had to completely retool their defense but they still have the former heisman winner at QB. I almost picked Navy just cause i really thought this might be their year. Sherwood's last ride, they have improved each year and i am really surprised that they are at 5-5.

I like what Iowa has done, but my surprise not a big surprise! Syracuse, they won over UCLA,
LSU, Clemson and lost to Tennessee by 5! We still have trouble with the run!

Kansas was the biggest surprise for me, especially with Oklahoma's early dominance. Iowa has been equally great and both will make noise well into the post-season!
I think the reports of Navy's death are way premature, they can easily go on a run and get into the Bowls. If they do, that's 1 team most will want to avoid!

Utah should've been on this list. Going from 4-12 to 8-8, things were looking up. Now with the tough scheldule ahead, the Utes will be hard pressed to even reach 4-12.
