Not a single Stanford player.

Now I understand that the team as a whole hasn't performed, but there has to be an individual worthy of mention despite the team's struggles.

Who would you put?

C Armando Peters
CB Brent Coleman
CB Joe Castle
WLB Steven Brough

Not saying these guys are stellar and Top 25, but they're solid and consistent performers over a number of years, and likely would be Championship contenders on any other team.

  • Peters has given up 21 sacks in three years, the best centers give up like 0 or 1 a year.

  • Couldn't find a Brent Coleman on your team to evaluate

  • Castle has 1 interception in three years, that's not much production.

  • Brough has gotten 24 sacks in four years which is solid but his tackle numbers are skewed by the amount of opportunities he gets on d. He doesn't get a lot of interceptions so he doesn't really stand out too much. Linebackers in general have a hard time popping on mfn and that's probably why only 1 was in the top 50 list.

This was awesome! I enjoyed slowly revealing all the names on the list, especially the Top 10 when I would read and learn about the players.... a really cool angle, Tommy!

And I would never critique your decisions, I know how much work you put into it... COUGHsampsonCOUGH...

he was a guy on the bubble, i had a really hard time integrating lb's into this since every year there seems to be a different group at the top. I had a similar grade on Myles Morgan and he didn't make the cut as well :(

I hear you, I figured it was something like that... Sampson, and LB's in general in MFN, does sem to have great games and invisible games... Also, I think it's easier with the other positions to figure out who is dominating statistically: DLine get sacks, Secondary get Ints and low %, LB's are kind of subjective... I did notice that not a lot of LB's made the Top 50...

Hit it on the point Bryson, great job!!! Thomas is an exact replica of Aaron Donald, just an other-worldly DT
