The league is full and the excitement is spilling over college campuses throughout the United States. My first act as League Administer is to introduce myself. My name is Tommy and I have two kids (2 and 7) and a beautiful wife. We reside in Northern California just a hop skip, and a jump, away from the ocean. My son has Down’s Syndrome and is my pride and joy. His name is Bryson :). I’m an avid football fan and have always enjoyed the statistical aspect of sports. I’ve been a cohost on the MFN Tonight radio show with Bryno, Ares, Mr. Krazy and Brexkyl. I enjoy helping new players and guiding owners in a positive direction. The show allows me this opportunity as well as everyday chat in the forums. After many seasons of public leagues many of the veterans collaborated to start the first Private League (75). The league has been successful in many aspects. There are uber competitors and smart owners across the board. Games are hard fought and the draft is challenging. One thing I feel that is lost sometimes in a league full of champions is the fun factor. Many owners are committed but have gone silent but that was not an aspect that was part of the initial recruitment. The league started with all the owners that dominated in the trophy room. I love the league, don’t get me wrong, but something is missing for me. I wanted a league of my friends and guys I’ve grown to enjoy in my leagues. A new private league was my answer….
I’ve invited you all to participate because I think you will bring the fun factor back for me. There’s a collection of veterans and newer players throughout this league. I wanted guys that like to immerse themselves as well as participate in all the fun. Guys that will fight tooth and nail to stomp on each other in a big game, but also congratulate their opponent after a tough loss. We have some really good owners with bright minds and strategies to go along with some cool guys that I’m excited about calling my friends. I’m hoping we can make this league fun above all other aspects. There’s some pressing issues that we will need to vote on in the near future but I thought I’d take time to reintroduce myself to some and say hi to the guys I’m just getting to know. This league has a lot of potential but we as a group need to work together to make it great. Ideas and input is always welcomed! We will vote on big issues and I will take leadership over the smaller ones. Thanks for your time and I hope you guys enjoy the new NCAA Football League.
