Syracuse have slowing been building their program up with young talented players and last season they saw the fruits of their labor. Winning the ACC and getting to play in their first Bowl game. RS Sophomore Douglas Hemphill was plucked in the first round of recruiting in 2019 with an eye towards the future. In his third season he has taken the reins and exploded on the scenes. Currently leading the NCAA in Yards and TD's Hemphill has vaulted his name into the Heisman race. Not to be outdone is Hemphill's #1 man WR Charles Armijo. A former RB, Armijo is starting to really come into his own in his 5th season. He's averaging just under 205 receiving yards a game and has joined his teammate in the race for hardware. Most importantly these two dynamic players have the Syracuse Orange in the driver's seat of the ACC and well on their way to another Bowl berth. This year the goal is to do more damage once they make the postseason.
