It's not a secret that the two-time national champions boast one of the best offenses in the NCAA but it for the first time in school history the defense hasn't pulled their weight. The majority of the pressure has shifted squarely on the former Heisman Trophy winner Jonathan Demartini and his legion of playmakers. The list is long but at the top is William Brock and Charles Shackleford. Both players are dynamic and versatile. Tennessee's offense has turned into a fast break attack with most of their wins credited to outscoring opponents. Both receivers rank in the top 10 for yardage and Shackleford is tied for the NCAA lead with 13 receiving TD's. Demartini is having one of his best seasons as he's dramatically limited his turnovers while still throwing many touchdowns. The Volunteers are at a turning point in their season, the SEC East title is within grasp but only if the #2 offense in the nation can grab it.
