The 2017 Heisman Trophy Winner is now free as a graduate transfer to pick his next destination. With only one year of eligibility left Beall will look to go out in style and challenge for a a title. Here's a list of teams that could be in the Beall hunt:
1.
Kentucky- Despite having a QB the team believes in many fans are clamoring for a fresh face to take the reigns. While Adams has been productive, he has turned the ball over far too much for the Wildcats.
2.
LSU- The Tigers aren't far off from a bowl berth and SEC West title. With more consistency on offense they will be the team to beat in a very underwhelming division.
3.
Navy- Here's a team that tried to cope with the loss of James Sherwood a year ago only to see the team stumble to last place in the Independent Division. While Beall wouldn't offer a long term solution, he would vault Navy back into contention and possibly a bowl berth.
4.
Ohio St.- The Buckeyes were an eyelash away from playing for a National Title last year and incumbent starter Osuna wasn't the reason why they failed. His inconsistency in past is cause for concern and it would be interesting to see how this team would do with a talent like Beall running the show.
5.
California- Cal is a team that can't seem to find their consistent groove over the course of a 16 game schedule. Losing Carter might put the Bears in the market if the staff is still not happy with former starter Rodney Williams.
6.
Texas A&M- The new staff in College Station is chomping at the bit to re-energize a downtrodden program and get them pointed in the right direction. Beall is a short term stopgap but getting this program trending up would go a long way in recovering a sullen fanbase.
7.
Michigan- The Wolverines are looking for a spark and replacing Nolan might be the kick in the **** he program needs. After dominating the Big Ten in 2018 and 2019 the Wolverines are looking to prove they belong in the title picture. Beall would fit nicely in an offense with some explosive weapons
8.
Army- Here's a sleeper team in this year's transfer period. Army is coming off two disappointing seasons and they have replaced the head coach for the second straight year. Bradshaw had a nice season last season if you look at the stats but he disappeared in some big games. Army has been to the title game with less talent than they posses now so management might think it's time to go for it. Beall would offer a more consistent big game leader for a team trying to recapture past glory.
