Georgia is hoping to close the gap in the SEC West this season and much of the responsibility will lie with their 7th year starting quarterback Nicholas Smitherman. Coming off a season where he tossed 35 TD's and 14 ints, Smitherman has loads of confidence behind one of the nation's best offensive line. The staff in Athens is very optimistic and much of their confidence is due to their emerging star Smitherman.
