One of the hottest teams in the nation is none other than Louisiana St. University. Reeling off 6 straight wins and vaulting themselves into first place in the SEC West. The last three wins have been tight affairs with the Tigers winning by an average margin of just two points. Led by QB Benjamin Matzke the offense hasn't been dynamic but they've been clinical. The run game is always steady with the work horse Stephen Figueroa toting the rock. Redshirt soph TE Johnny Simmons has emerged as a true downfield threat and has opened up the offense for the receivers. After starting the season 0-4 the Tigers are the definition of the word streaky. If they are going to hold on and regain their Division crown that they held from 2017-2019 they will need to get more consistent against the power schools.
