Kentucky Wildcats

A team that has narrowly missed out on the post season the past two seasons decided to make a splash in the offseason. At the top of the wish list was former UCLA Heisman Trophy winner QB Robert Beall. Arriving in Lexington with heaps of pressure on his back Beall was coming off his worst season as a collegiate QB. Despite being pressured and hit more than most quarterbacks in the country Beall never once pointed a finger or made an excuse. A born leader, he's finally fulfilling the potential he displayed in 2017. Kentucky is at the top of the SEC East with an 8-2 record. Beall is on the short list for Heisman as he's thrown for 3,709 yards, 33 TD's and only 12 interceptions. In just 10 games he has completely revitalized an offense mired in inconsistency. The Wildcats not only are looking at a Bowl game this season but they are on pace to perhaps grab a top seed and a ticket straight into the second round. Many analysts though it would be WR Kerry Servais that would explode with the addition of a top tier passer but it's been a balanced attack featuring many wr's that has made the Wildcats so successful. The most glaring difference for the team according to the coaches is the leadership Beall has brought. A graduate transfer in his swan song season, Beall is determined to do whatever it takes to get this very talented bunch as far as they can dream.
