Sounds way more inviting (chips/drinks) than the proverbial self-owned-asses that we are going to have handed to us! And those were the days, weren't they?

2046-Week 3 #10 Navy - L 20-30

What stood out: Longhorns still so far back from the pack. One half of good football....wait. Just because they had the lead at half time doesn't mean anything positive. The only positive thing about it was getting 20 points on the board but this defense is worse than swiss cheese.

Frank Thompson: He's etched as this year's starter and he showed that he's not ready (and may never be) - the real bad thing for Horns fans is....you're stuck with this and it ain't going to be pretty. Lopez won't be doing anything but holding a football like Lucy for the rest of his Texas career and The draft is 16 weeks away.

Provo Utah bound.....on the rails labeled "1-3".... into the headlights of a freight train.

Catching up.... (IRL job has taken over my life, and I'm tired, Boss....)

Longhorn football has officially hit its lowest curve since Bryno has taken over in Austin. Following their spirited effort vs Oklahoma in RRR 1, the team has been a shell of itself. The maligned quarterback position has been the focal point for the team's woes and is no surprise. Coming into this season there was hope that Frank Thompson had logged the right amount of time in the offseason to make the final turn to be ready to lead this team. Following this past week's performance vs Army - the question was answered. Definitively. It's over.

The Longhorns have brought in a conference signal caller that has spent time at two of Texas' biggest rivals, Kansas and Oklahoma. William Harmon has come on board to see if there is any turnaround that is possible for this 1-5 debacle. If the team can improve it's record in the third consecutive season under Bryno-all Harmon has to do is go 9-1 in these next 10 games. That's all.

Collaterally, QB Jim Lopez was also shown the door which does one thing. Confirms just how "all-in" Bryno really was on going with Thompson as the team's QB with no other option. That is now very clear.

Here is a good look at why: The Two Newest Available QB's in the NCAA

Frank Thompson - 2046

Jim Lopez (Career) 54% Completion 19td 32int 61.94 Rating

Seems to me that INT's are noticeably up lately, and not just in this league.

Hang in there Bryno. That's a brutal schedule to try and handle with a rebuild.
