From Clemson's viewpoint, both teams look pretty good over the last couple games!

Good luck to you both!

FRESHMAN RECRUITING REPORT

This year's recruiting proved to one of the more challenging classes that we have ever experienced.

DAY 1 SIGNEE

OL Howard Orton – Howard is another Lineman to sign with the Wildcats as they continue to get younger to protect QB Edgar Gallagher and open holes for James Smith.

DAY 2 SIGNEE

WR Charles Chandler – Charles comes in with the tools to succeed but needs a strong training camp to show the risk the Wildcats took is worth it.

DAY 3 SIGNEE

LB Fred Rhea – The Wildcats are hoping to hit lightning in the bottle again this year by moving Fred to Llnebacker just like they did with Star Linebacker Antonio Miller.

DAY 4 SIGNEE

DB Bill Croxton – This kid will play somewhere on Defense. Where that will be only a good trainings camp will tell.

DAY 5 SIGNEE

DB Jerald Elliot – Another Defensive Back with upside, hoping to bring out the beast in him during Training Camp.

DAY 6 SIGNEE

P George McKee – Wildcats love this kid attitude now if it translate into a football player we will have to wait and see.

DAY 7 SIGNEE

DB Robert Padilla - Another defensive back, Wildcats are just hoping to catch something here. Has the attributes to be good but does he want to work for it?

The theme with this recruiting class was bring in kids with skill and lets wait and see if they become football players.
