3rd year in a row that there will be a preseason QB battle.

I should have waited to post this after training camp. Joe Germaine bombed in training camp. He had a pretty decent preseason but will not unseat Osuna. Joe is hoping the future NCAA rule changes (new game engine) will benefit his skill set.

So is Ricketts!
35% completion through 3 preseason games. Looks like it’s gonna be another rough season in Huntington.

2024 Report

The Buckeyes are getting old!! Do they have what it takes to win a 4th straight Big 10 Championship? Can they finally beat ND in a bowl game? How will they replace the school's leader in career rushing yards, TDs, and yards from scrimmage? Boswell took his talents to Oregon. Lots of new faces on campus! A few transfers and a team record 10 freshmen report to fall camp. The coaching staff is extremely nervous about this group. They have amazing potential but 6 of them are boom or bust type guys.

The 30th recruiting class at THE Ohio State University was very underwhelming!

What a great start to the season!!!

The Buckeyes need QB Samuel Valentin https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/player/11477 to play like this all year. He has a history of turnovers during big games. This is year 5 as the starter and he has all the tools to make it happen. Valentin switched his jersey number to 14 for good luck.

The Defense played lights out and kept their offense scoreless.

The Buckeye faithful are desperate for a NCAA Championship!!!!

The Buckeyes lose 2 coaches to retirement, HC Beal and DC Ward. Andre Beal completed his 13th year at OSU where he compiled a record of 172 wins to 61 losses. He took over a team that had missed the playoffs 9 out of the last 10 seasons. He led the Buckeyes to 12 Division titles and the programs only 2 Conference championships. He never missed the playoffs. His right hand man was DC Willie Ward. He is stepping down after 17 seasons in which the Bucks had 201 wins and 95 losses.

The coaching search will be far and wide!

Michael Cade has been tapped to lead the Buckeyes!

Coach Cade has been the WR coach at OSU for the last 14 seasons. The AD thought that maintaining continuity was the best course of action. Clarence Chapa was picked as DC to overhaul the defense.
