In a change of heart, the five-time Head Coach of the Year John Nickell has decided to ride off into the sunset after his 4th straight National Championship and not follow AD Bryson10 to Hollywood. USC has some interviews scheduled and are actually prepared for the situation since it was well known that this was a possible option.

In other news many high profile players have decided to turn pro. Tenn CB Bill Wu, LSU RB Stephen Figueroa and Rutgers DT John Schafer just to name a few.

With Nickel retiring, I think this begs the question: can coaches be inducted into the HOF?
