Draft Schedule Results

Draft Days

Normal four day draft like is always is
18.75% 6

One day draft all on a Saturday
28.13% 9
–
Two day draft (First four rounds on Sat and remaining rounds on either sunday or monday)
53.13% 17


Time alloted for each draft pick
3 minutes
31.25% 10
–
4 minutes
9.38% 3

5 minutes

More than 5 minutes

So it looks like the draft will be a two day event!!! The draft times are so close i'm wondering if i should do a revote with just the two 5 minute and 3 minute options? I was also thinking of making an executive decision and having the first two rounds 5 minutes and the rest of the draft 3 minutes. Any feedback would be appreciated. Without trading i think it would be fine either way. The big difference will be the time that each round will take overall. Thanks everyone for voting!!!

Well......I for one favoured the one day in 5min. Intervals.
But, since I don’t speak for the entire league , I think if you’re going to do it on a 2 day, can we make it so that the second day is on a Sunday instead of Monday?
The last draft we did, I found the time during my work schedule, which was OK but much rather preferred to do it while I’m at home in full A.D. mode

I like 5 minutes 1st 2 rounds and 3 minutes the rest.

This is all up to jdb. I will request saturday and sunday but he may say that sunday is an off day for mfn so im not sure it’s an option. I will beg for sat and sunday though lol

ya my dream scenario would be first two rounds 5 minutes and we do a radio show for the two rounds. Then the third and fourth rounds 3 minutes a pick and on sat. Then 4-7th round picks on sunday with 3 minutes for each pick. I think that would be a great scenario

That schedule should work well. I do know that sometimes drafts can get run on Sundays if the league gets delayed, the biggest thing about Sundays is that overnight Saturday is when all maintenance is scheduled so if game sims run overnight they will likely crash if a maintenance occurs. I also like having Sunday available to push significant updates but as of yet haven't had but one of those.

i'm thinking we should schedule the draft for saturday and sunday and take our chance that it doesn't crash on sunday. If it does we will have day two on monday. Sound good?
