GG 'Bama. Too many turnovers on our end, too many horses on your end. Good luck the rest of the way!

Posted in the Locker room since Week 1 ;)

But seriously I find it pretty cool that there were 5 playoff teams that no one predicted to make the playoffs (Texas, Clemson, RU, UCLA, and WSU). Good stuff! Next season the predictions are gonna be hilarious to look back on with the new code flipping the league on its head in terms of success lol

Kentucky is the first road team to ever win the Cotton Bowl. This season will mark the first year ever that Notre Dame will not be represented in the Rose Bowl. Rutgers 61 points is the second most points a road team has ever scored in a bowl game in NCAA history dating back to the 64 scored by Oklahoma in the 2019 Outback Bowl. Alabama's 73 points is the most points scored in a bowl game ever by a team in post season play and Heisman Trophy winner Douglas Seward had the most prolific Bowl single game performance in NCAA history with a stat line 26/39 705 yards, 9 TD, 2 Int and 127.94 rating. With Alabama, Rutgers and USC making the final 4 it's the first time three teams have advanced to the Semifinals after not even making a Bowl game the previous year. Only one road team has ever won the Orange Bowl (Clemson defeated Kentucky 2019). The road team won the first three Rose Bowls (2017-19) but the home team has won the last four (2020-2023).

Good game, CR!

I'm disappointed that we gave up a pick 6 and a kickoff return for another 6. I thought our defense played well, but I knew this one would come down to who made the most of the other team's mistakes.

Best of luck next game!

I just realized..... This HAS to be the first season with two rookie QBs in the Final Four right (I can't even think of one rookie QB actually)? Three of the QBs left have a combined 5 regular seasons of experience in their pockets while Seward himself has double that with 10......

That should be enough to sway the Orange Bowl in Alabama's favor.....if nothing else.

I just realized I'm going against David Orange & Fred Orange along with AD David Orange in the freakin' Orange Bowl for crying out loud!!! I'm doomed!!!

Alabama should come out smelling like Roses!!!
Or would that be USC?
