Ya i was hoping to get the Irish but i'll settle for Charmin. It will be a couple days of Rutgers hyping his team and then saying how he has no chance. Back n forth making my head spin. I think the two matchups are going to be exciting :)

I'm surprised at how Rutgers handled ND. I wasn't expecting that at all!

Mind games Bryson, mind games...... ;)

But yeah, I'm facing not only a top 5 offense now but also a top 5 D too lol. Hopefully we can keep things interesting...........

To be the man, you gotta beat the man, and the road to a title always goes through Bryson. This would be a good time for that first win ever against you lol.....

you could get a revenge twice in a row as along as you win your game against Alabama which you would get revenge for this season awhile if USC is able to beat Rutgers then you could get revenge for the super bowl/national title game 2 seasons ago.

what gets me though is you have 3 teams that havent played in the national title game (Alabama , USC , Rutgers) in the final four and if you go to owners it is only Alabama and Rutgers .

Kentucky is the first road team to ever win the Cotton Bowl. This season will mark the first year ever that Notre Dame will not be represented in the Rose Bowl. Rutgers 61 points is the second most points a road team has ever scored in a bowl game in NCAA history dating back to the 64 scored by Oklahoma in the 2019 Outback Bowl. Alabama's 73 points is the most points scored in a bowl game ever by a team in post season play and Heisman Trophy winner Douglas Seward had the most prolific Bowl single game performance in NCAA history with a stat line 26/39 705 yards, 9 TD, 2 Int and 127.94 rating. With Alabama, Rutgers and USC making the final 4 it's the first time three teams have advanced to the Semifinals after not even making a Bowl game the previous year. Only one road team has ever won the Orange Bowl (Clemson defeated Kentucky 2019). The road team won the first three Rose Bowls (2017-19) but the home team has won the last four (2020-2023).

9 weeks ago, Alabama slaughtered Kentucky, 59-13, in front of 51,641 Wildcat faithful. This weekend Kentucky travels to Alabama for a much more meaningful game, hoping to return the favor. A chance at a National Championship is at stake.

Kentucky has made no secret of wanting a second shot at Heisman Trophy winner Douglas Seward. Seward threw for 8 TD's that game for 584 yards. The Wildcat secondary vows to not allow that kind of performance again.

That might be easier said than done. Seward has proven to be practically unstoppable all season long. Alabama has been held to 40 points or less only 5 times this season. 4 of those games were losses.

Kentucky has scored 40 points or more only twice all season long. That alone explains why Alabama is a 7 point favorite to advance to the National Title game. It could end up being another long night for these surprising Wildcats.

If Kentucky drops 50, they win. That's the magic number imo in that game.
