Great game Bryno. Down 7-17 in the final minutes of game, the Irish looked like there was no hope to win this one. But after making it 14-17, they forced Army to punt with under a minute to go. Then this play happened that will forever be in the history books, remembered as Jason Stevenson's first ever win. :) https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/watch/2814#527326

The game was so weird... Defenses were bend but don't break all game. Felt like the ball moved so much, but the stats really don't show it. Still think we got lucky, but... I'm probably still gun-shy after seasons of ineptitude. ;)

Stanford was tied for the top spot in the Elite to miss a playoff spot....... This was the best story of the season in my book!

lol...that actually was a pretty good game. When you guys tied it up at 21 I said to myself "we're gonna lose this game". We couldn't stop your running game, and we couldn't get much going on offense...thank God for those 2 kick returns!
Good job hc...your team is a lot better than the record shows. Good luck in the off season getting ready for 045. :)

Thank GOD we had to put up with this for only one season.......not that 0.4.5 is much better.

gg, Michael. South Bend. Hate that place. Put the Safety Blitz back in the book after not using it for almost the entire season. Apparently the DC got a little excited about that. That left your boy wide open on that game winner. Good luck with your off season.

You know, despite the 5-11 finish and playing a true freshman most of season , the Irish still finished 5-3 in South Bend. Shows how important home field is in the game. And some losses were only by a few points. Look out for some big things from the Irish next season. :)
