I can take over the worst team in the world I still play to win regardless. I am going to do what I can to make that happen.

So with that logic one should sit all the draft picks because they may not be as good as the players starting ahead of them at this point even though the other 2 players ahead of him are ****. Tell me who i should cut who i should start what plays to use as well.

The situation dictates the logic. If I know a player is going to be good down the road, but isn't there yet. I may not play him right away. If I am weak at a position and have no choice, he has to play. It doesn't matter to me who you start or what plays you run, didn't check if I play you or not, but your division will benefit or not from your decisions.

I think it'd be different in my view if the young guy actually had a shot at getting better if he played. Or if he could actually COMPLETE a pass and give your team an actual chance. Michigan is the big 10 champ and i was going to pick them again but there's no way they even compete with finely playing. It's more a flaw with the code than anything but it seems crazy to still play a guy when he's useless until he progresses. 0 gor 62 with 9 interceptions against a bad Tennessee defense should be pretty obvious.

Yup, pretty much. See: Realism.
I think over the last 10seasons rookies have barely started 30 games for me (out of 160 games * 22 starting spots). It's RARE. Playing even a future star when he's literally going to cost your team 16Ls and have very limited upside to show for it? I don't see the logic.
But you do you *shrug*

Most of my draft picks sit their first year. I look at a player's current ratings to decide who plays where. That is what establishes their performance. Most Rookies earn a backup role their 1st year.

If you play a guy knowing that player doesn't give you the best chance of winning, then you are tanking. Plainly put.

Personally I've played most if not all of my rookie QBs, especially in this league (Cannon, Montes) but that also happened cuz A) they had pretty solid accuracy in their rookie year and B) I literally had no alternative. But other positions, it usually just depends on my depth (Mueller and Sanderson at DE were bench players first year, but Reed and Dore at LB started right away). Usually ends up being my first rounder is the only immediate starter.
