Well, Holy ****. This is kind of a big deal for me.
First of all, Great Game MrHines! My team played the best game they could, you had crucial players injured, I got ALL the bounces, and, for whatever reason, the refs were totally in my pocket... With all that, I only just won the game! You are absolutely the class of the league, and you'll be back in The Game next year.
And Tommy, what kind of strange voodoo soothsayer magic are you practicing? Why in the world would you pick my team, and how could you possibly be right? Not in a million years would I have picked this team, I don't know what you saw that I didn't...
I almost quit the league before last season, not because I didn't love it here, but because I didn't think I was worthy to have a team. I had been so sloppy with my contracts that I had something like 63 million in dead cap and lost 8 key starters. The only reason I kept my team was that I didn't want to hand my horrible mismanagement to some poor sap. I decided that if I carefully rebuilt, maybe I could have a decent team in 5 seasons... So if I'm lucky, I'll make a run for the Championship in 3 seasons!
This is the best league in MFN, I don't think I'm alone in thinking that. I've won my share of trophies, but This is the Big One. Thanks to all of you for making this such a strong league. There are no easy games here, everybody wants to win. It's the best! I'll enjoy this very much for a day, then start prepping for next season... WOOT!
