We could not stop those hard slants. They killed us on defense. And on offense we didn't finish our drives. Which equals to a loss in the opener. See ya next round.

Good game mhines... I knew this one was gonna be tough. Gribble is a beast and we had nothing for him. Nice job with the new team and welcome to the Big12. :)

Side note: I was shocked when we went for it on 4th down several times in the 4th qtr including early in the 4th and down by only 6.
I use a rule in preseason to always go for it on 4th down in the 4th qtr if we're behind. (don't need to see a punter punt) and I'm the dummy who forgot to turn that off. :0
I must be gettin old....

Gg Lars. Washington has always been a really tough matchup for me as seen in my 14-2 season when I dropped our game to you that year. The good news of the game was that your receivers were nonexistent and Dalton didn't have a catch. The bad news was that as expected with Washington, it was the Kaufman show and he had himself quite the receiving game lol. Lucky for us, we had it start later in the game and managed to hang on. We won't be playing many RBs as good as him so I'm not overly worried yet. Best of luck this season :)

Good game Navy, happy to see the Irish D only allow field goals vs you that game. That’s improvement but last season, the Irish dominated Navy in South Bend too and we know how that season resulted. Lol. Irish have another big task next vs Clemson who scored 50 on Florida State last night.

Trslick/Kansas I know the score doesn't look good but I thought Kansas played a good game. Turnover hurt this game but I am sure you can bounce back. Williams, except for the interceptions, looked good. You have a nice young quarterback to build around.

I will freely admit I was disappointed in my newer offense setup. I signed a big time QB transfer and he had a horrible game #1. I am hopeful I can chalk it up to playing a 15-1 team and I can put up a better offensive fight down the road.

GG Sloth. The Orange are always tough. It’s going to be an interesting season.

We need to step it up with our schedule this season. And, it would help if PJ didn’t toss two INTs in the red zones.
