Well after another full regular season, I think it's finally safe to say we have a franchise QB in our hands. Probably Johnnie's best year of his career. And Dupuis finished a close second in total scrimmage yards, behind his Mitchell. So another fantastic year by likely the greatest Rutgers player in history.
I'm cautiously optimistic for a playoff run with this team. Probably the most optimistic I've been with Rutgers since the 14-2 year we lost to USC in the Rose Bowl. Top 5 defense, number 6 offense, and finally a year where both are really good. We have had some clunkers on both sides of the ball, so as long as we avoid that, we are in good shape. Only downside is most games other than a potential game against Navy will be on the road, so we have to bring our A++ game every week. Tough schedule, but I believe in this squad.
