Do we want to have it like actual college football, where there's just 1 spring game? Or do we want to actually have evaluation time? Heh.

At first when we cut the preseason down i thought it would be cool to be more like college but the way the game is setup you can't evaluate any of your backups or young talent and they don't get their conditioning up at all without the games. It's equal for all teams but i really like to try out new stuff so i thought it'd be good to bring up after two years with the current system. Same with the time of sim, i want the league to be evolving and adjusting to the majority rule rather than this is how it is forever :)

Agreed on all counts; was just wanting to see your reasoning. Heh.

The real college guys get their conditioning and position experience up through practices, which we don't have luxury of here. So I say the more games the better.

ya i agree, it also gives more time to progress for young guys but also more time to get injuries. it either way i see the pros and cons, i just hate going into the season with all my guys less than half conditioned.

I can’t change it this year anyways but just because we voted in it doesn’t mean we can’t change it. Everything we do outside of trading can be discussed. I voted 2 before league started but I feel different now. I will only change it if the league is obviously in favor of changing it

Then it looks like it will be 3. I can't say I'm happy about it. If that's what everybody else wants, I guess I can deal with it.

I will say that I suddenly have an issue with the number of early FA weeks. I didn't expect so many players to sign with teams already.

ya sloth and i noted that since we have less weeks of free agency the players signed way sooner than normal. We can always put that up for vote as well

This is a league with a different format than all the others. It's what I like about it. It makes things challenging for everyone. I'm content as long as everyone is affected equally.
