21!

Fuuuuuck.
Yeah but despite the bad camp, he still has incredible attributes imo. Great arm, very accurate passer and great pass release along with his high intelligence. Still worth the pick.

Bruins training was not a good one. Every player had a drop except for #1 pick Larry Navarro

1. CB Larry Navarro
2. CB Edward Montes
3. RG Randal McCloskey
4. LB Guadalupe Hayes
5. C Michael Quinones
6. P Stephen Rick
7. WR Lyle Bidwell

I think I can work all of them except Randal McCloskey the drop off maybe too much for him to survive

Contrary to popular belief the Irish can actually sign players that will improve :)

1-30 TE Durham Smythe (+26/+3)

2-30 G Aaron Banks (+12/-8)

3-30 G Logan Plantz (+19/+9)

4-30 K Kyle Brindza (+10/+12)

5-30 G Damon King (+8/+11)

Overall
(+75/+27) Still bummed about missing out on Banks as he was a player that really could have shined with a good camp. Adding a front line everydown tightend and two booming young lineman will help out for the future. Brindza is the fourth kicker the Irish have recruited and may be the last. The class as a whole might not be flashy but it's definitely a good result after last year's debacle.

Yeah, I just have to use Training Camp to see how bad his FoV and Look Off mar his value.

I think he'll still be a solid player if used right :)

1. LB Addison Gumbs +14 +4
Gumbs had a good camp and will make the team despite the low tackling. Can also play DE and SS if needed. May push for a stronger role if the tackling improves. Will be depth for now.
2. WR Parnell Motley +12 -1
Signed as a slot receiver but he has a couple to beat out. Gritty kid with good hands and a big heart. Depth for now.
3. DE John-Michael Terry +3 -4
Disappointing camp. Failed a couple of agility drills and had to walk the last part of the Sooner Mile. Not looking good.
4. C Creed Humphrey +1 +1
Pleasant surprise. Smart kid tries hard and did everything right. He'll make the team but he'll be depth until he can get better with his blocking.
5. OL Jeffrey Evelyn +2 +0
May make the team...he's a huge road grader type. Depth
6. DE Albert O'Neal +4 +1
Decent camp but OU has WR's stronger than him. Don't see him wearing crimson and cream.

Syracuse had a productive Training Camp once again ahead of the 2020 season.

RDE Walter Gauthier: +18/+10 What was especially encouraging was the fact that he looks like he'll end up not being as bad of a liability in the run as initially thought. He still won't be a stuffer, but won't get destroyed either. He looks like he'll end up being above average as a pass rusher, hopefully solving some of their problems in that area in recent seasons.

RG Shane Sloth: +0/+0 True to his name, Sloth failed to gain any traction whatsoever during camp. He will eventually fulfill his promise as a capable guard, but until then he will be learning from the bench.

WR Douglas Wooten: +8/+0 He started losing weight, trying to get down to ideal size for his position. He will never be a burner, but could see 79 speed in his future. His hands improved incrementally, which will help his placement on the depth chart as he matures. His future on this team will ultimately be as a possession receiver. Not bad for the class that presented itself this season.

RT Jose Smith: +3/-1 His future will be as a transfer, most likely to a division 2 school where he should succeed against lesser competition. The Orange wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Perhaps the biggest news out of camp was the progress made by Freshman QB Douglas Hemphill. He made the most of the offseason program and came into camp and showed dramatic improvement in his accuracy. He went from a 53 at the end of last season to 85 heading into the preseason games. He projects as a 100 accuracy QB, and will start the preseason games as the top signal caller on the depth chart.

I was always under the impression that an attribute that was tapped out couldn't go down. I was sure Dayton's accuracy was either 90 or 91, and tapped. Have I been wrong and it can actually go down his first training camp? I know it might as he gets to thinking about retirement.

Clemson training camp:

Round 1 - RDE- John Rincon: +5 / +2 : Rincon will get right to work as the starter on the right side of the Dline.

Round 2 - RG - John Silva: +2 / -2 : Silva will be slotted as the starting RG on running plays. He will need to work on the pass blocking technique.

Round 3- RT - Eric Sanders: +5 / -5 : Sanders was brought in to be the successor to RT- Harper, who will be graduating this year. TC didn't work out, he will make the team, but as a reserve.

Round 4- RG- Mark Boyd: Cut: Didn't have a bad camp, but this was an AI pick whose skills don't work with the team so he was asked to turn in his scholarship...OK, what skills did he need? That's right pass blocking, run blocking, strength...not so good.

Round 5- QB- Charles Uribe : +2 / -6 : This pick had high VOL, and with only 1 more season to find a capable backup to Obrien, we took a chance. He will be cut.

Round 6- WR- Raymond Mortenson: +4 / -5 : Late pick that could have been a good addition to special teams, but TC didn't work out. He will be cut.

Round 7- WLB- Johnathan Tallant: +6 / -1 : Don't let the name fool you...there isn't much talent there, but he will make the team!

In a league that values the draft very much, Clemson won't be getting many accolades for their recruiting this season. However, #1 and #2 picks will have immediate impact on team. I'm not sure it is enough to hold off the others in the ACC.
