Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Kansas has NOT clinched!

Lots of things have to fall into place, but if they do, Kansas will not make the playoffs if:

Kansas loses
Syracuse wins
Clemson wins
Kentucky wins
Tennessee loses

In that scenario, Kentucky wins the division with a head to head tiebreaker over Tennessee.
Syracuse wins the division with a head to head tiebreaker over Clemson. Now Kansas, Tennessee, and Clemson are all 11-5. Based on the NFL tiebreakers for 3 or more clubs, the tiebreaker that will be used to separate is conference record, where Tennessee gets the 5 seed with a 9-3 conf record, while Kansas and Clemson would be 8-4. Now Kansas and Clemson do their 2 club tiebreaker. No head to head works and conference records identical. So we use common opponent record. Both teams played Bama, Oklahoma State, and Miami. Kansas is 2-2 against those teams. Clemson is 3-1. Clemson gets the 6 seed.

I could have very well made a mistake, but I'm pretty sure it's correct. Obviously a lot has to happen, but never say never :)

I was worried about this game. It seemed like the perfect time to fall after such a great run this season. Kentucky has lost 2 straight!!

I thought I was gonna come from behind and pull off the win as well. Don't quite understand why my coaches decided to run the ball twice instead of going for the TD with a big pass play. Oh well. It was a helluva game and congrats on the win, trslick!

Looks like Kentucky will be playing on the 1st weekend of Bowl Week. (That is, if I even qualify now) :/

We at KU, would like to thank our colleague at Rutgers for doing the math, showing our league
of brothers the chance we could not make a bowl! We say our bowl game was with the great
team of Kentucky and our best season to date is in the record book! Mr Thomas was bashing
a locker with his head saying the word Rutgers after every hit!! He reminded me of the crazy
water boy and what his momma said! You have to love all these huge games, I may watch them
all! Good luck everyone!!
