Bowl Playoffs Round 2

Good one Iowa. It was a tight one until late. We seem to finish strong as of late. Solid team there. That one 76 yd swing pass was the difference.

it was about time the 3-qb system bit me in the ****. QB3 was sacked at least twice, lost a fumble and threw two INTs. He illustrated why I don't trust QBs with a low scramble rating. lol.

Well Shoot...

I accidentally looked at your facebook post before I watched the game, so...spoiler alert.

It is no surprise that Jones had a big day. Not trying to make excuses, because I had won my past 4 games without my #1 CB Baker.

I went into the game with 4 CB rated at 79 (a 11th year player past his prime) and 3 guys in the 50s. It's no wonder I didn't give up more points the past few games....

I will still watch the game to see what was working and what wasn't. I hope to continue to grow this team and get over the hump.

No problem....

Just watched...Not too bad actually. On defense, in spite of Jones' huge game, a number of passes that he caught were defended fairly well. One more quality body back there and I might keep it closer.

Offensively, a good rush average. Solid game for Gaskin. Tiffany completed nearly 2/3 of his passes. The big flaw (and it has been this way all of our matchups) is the lack of yards after the catch. I normally complete a high % because of a heavy dose of short passes, but that only works if my receivers can gain some yards after.

I have things to work on for next year.

ya i thought your team played well into the third quarter. One thing i like about my team for the most part is the ability to prevent YAC and it showed in this one for sure. Now hopefully i can do the same thing next game :)
