I will make one comment about the poll.

1. i don't like. you could select a player in round 1 and have him bust..then he is not quite "5-star" talent.

2. Is a bit better but has flaws. I've had a "2-star" player (60-69) perform like a 4/5 star. I'm sure you have too.

3. IMO is the best choice it is not really needed. High Price to pay for Small Reward, and i would hope everyone in this league knows how to evaluate prospects by now. we know whats good and what's not. But I'm okay with Number 2 if Bryson wants to put forth the effort to rank them.

It's no work at all. I was just thinking for the sake of how we refer to players. In stirrups and team news pages mostly. It would be cool to say "I have a defense filled with 3 star guys" etc. just for the immersion factor :)

Yes, i understand the basis is around the Role-Playing aspect of the game which is very cool.. maybe i underestimated how much effort was needed. Like i said Option 2 would be the best way if you move forward with the idea.

I agree because then it takes away the difference of opinion in draft status and keeps the player ranked solely by original base rating. some drafts are super bare and to get a 79 rated guy in the late first shouldn't make him a 5 star prospect. Just my opinion though

5 star to one owner may not be the same as a 5 star to another.

thats why a base rating would make it universal. I think there is a drastic difference in how we all evaluate talent but the star rating will be a base rating that makes it easier to understand. It's not a huge deal, we don't even have to have it, I just thought it would be a cool addition

How about making 5 star 92-100 and 4star 82-91 or 5 star 93-100 4 star 83-92

Not that it matters much but it would lower the amount of fives and might be more realistic to the percentages it is in real

it shouldn't be that different considering the draft prospects are getting lowered slowly over the long term. I just think if you go by tens it's easier, kind of like grades in school. I'm open to ideas though if others feel the same
