Our defensive front had been decimated from an ugly preseason - I think that had 'some' to do with the lousy start we had. Some had to do with playing the upper echelon of the the league out of the gate.

That said, this was a game that was clearly marked on the calendar when Garrok asked us all for who our Homecoming game would be. I didn't want to just take a team that I thought we'd have an 'easier' time with...I wanted it to be a difficult challenge (as you are ALWAYS a handful and regarded as one of the best) and I would rather go out of conference for Homecoming games.

Long story-short there was some time put into gameplanning for the Cowboys. Not gonna lie! It feels good to 'to get this one'...and I'm hoping we can keep it going against Navy this week. It will be the fulcrum-setter on whether the Black Knights head for the playoffs? Or sit in the Indy basement. Good luck to you - I know you'll be steamrolling toward the playoffs!

Gg USC. Plank and ur team started out well in this one but that safety followed by the kick return TD really swung it my way. Plank has lots of promise though, just took a bit too many sacks here. Good luck the rest of the way!
